WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW HOW I AM DIFFERENT?
- Well, those of you who know me watched me build one career on to the next. As I reflect back, I believe that God has given me the gift of HEALING and I am so honored that you have supported my practices over the years, as well as allowed me to share my skills with you.
- In 1989, I first started out my career as a Certified Personal Trainer in Greensboro, NC. As a trainer, I was able to help individuals develop exercise programs to meet their needs. Some of the individuals I worked with wanted to lose weight and/or tone their bodies. Others enjoyed exercising because it gave them energy, stress relief, and pain relief.
- Currently, I have two private practices (Counseling and Massage Therapy) here in Greensboro, North Carolina. Both practices are treated separately. I believe that learning is a life-long process and I travel often for educational training.
- As a Massage Therapist, God has gifted me with the knowledge, skills, and training to use my hands to perform intentional and systematic manipulation of the body to enhance health and healing. To learn more about me as a massage therapist, click the link below!

JILL'S TOP 3 STRENGTHS
Love of Learning, Creative, Open Mindedness
INSIGHT INTO JILL AS A THERAPIST
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Informed (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and other techniques, as well as assist as a Coach. I use my approaches to assist individuals and couples, dealing with overwhelming problems and continuing emotional responses trapped in a vicious cycle. I help identify unhelpful thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and self-destructive behaviors. My “coaching” approach is effective for those who do not qualify for a mental disorder, as well as the desire to develop the skills to discover new ways to uncover unhealthy patterns. Thus, breaking them down into smaller parts while remaining grounded, observant, and focused on present moment experiences in a non-judgmental manner. I hope to improve your unique needs, and personal tangible goals, and stimulate life satisfaction.

JILL AS A COUNSELOR
You May Find Yourself Thinking/Saying…
“I Believe That My Problems Are Too Big For Me To Solve”
I can’t answer all the questions about fairness; however, prevention is the best answer anytime you find it hard to deal with feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, as well as painful and unpredictable circumstances.
Desiring to regain perspective and balance prevents us from moving all over the map. It can also help us make healthier choices. This can lead us to reconnect back to ourselves, improve our quality of life, and even begin to repair and strengthen our relationships with others. I am also compassionate about working collaboratively with individuals and couples who desire positive change.
Perhaps you feel overwhelmed about what to do about your situation and how to get started!
JILL AS A COACH
"Here Is How I Might Be Helpful"
During certain times or circumstances, finding practical solutions for difficult situations may be a necessary lifeline. I would like to lend a helping hand by providing guidance and supportive resources that teach and challenge you, personally or as a couple.
When coaching, I use an interactive approach that will allow you to examine stumbling blocks that prevent you from achieving life goals. I believe in empowering individuals and couples with self-knowledge so that they are better able to focus on present-moment experiences while optimizing their authentic selves and building strengths rather than focusing on their imperfections.

JILL AS A PREMARITAL COUNSELOR
One Body = She + He
Is What It Means To Become One
Many marriages start great but end poorly because partners are not equipped with the skills needed to treat one another! Statistics Concerning Divorce:
First marriages 50%, Second marriages 67 %, and Third marriages 74% end in divorce.
Few people receive education and training about what’s involved in establishing a successful marriage.
If you and your partner desire to explore the barriers that often divide couples, then premarital counseling may be helpful! When or if these same challenges arise within you personally and/or as a couple, premarital counseling provides you with the tools to slow your brain down and think through situations before acting out negatively.

Wellness is important to me because it was something, I had to take on myself in my early adulthood and put myself on a journey to my healthiest self. It led to my work as a massage and bodywork therapist as well as a family and marriage counselor. My newest passion is my mindfulness seminar and again I went on this journey myself, I’ve done the research and feel confident I can help others because this benefits not only you but the people around you.
