PREMARITAL COUNSELING
Equipping yourselves early with the right tools can set your relationship up for success.
“The Big Day” also known as “Tying the Knot”
Stress is a natural part of change, and everyone encounters it at some point in life. One of the most joyful yet stressful events is “The Big Day"—getting married. While planning and preparing for the wedding and marriage can feel overwhelming, it’s important to remember that a little stress can motivate you to accomplish things, but too much can affect your well-being. I encourage couples to enjoy the wedding journey without losing sight of the importance of being emotionally ready for marriage.
Building a strong foundation, facing fears, recognizing warning signs, resolving conflicts, managing insecurities, and addressing issues with in-laws and extended family are all key to a healthy partnership.
SHE + HE = ONE BODY IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BECOME ONE
“WHAT DOES ‘BECOMING ONE’ REALLY ENTAIL?"
- Couples will explore “hot topics” they may not have considered before and discuss potential challenges that may arise after the honeymoon "la la love” phase!
- Many marriages begin well but end poorly because partners lack the skills to treat each other properly! STATISTICS REGARDING DIVORCE:
50% of First marriages, 67% of second marriages, and 74% of third marriages end in divorce.
50% of First marriages, 67% of second marriages, and 74% of third marriages end in divorce.
- Few people receive education and training about what it takes to establish a successful marriage. This may happen due to the stigma surrounding seeking help and/or because of limited knowledge regarding premarital counseling.
