My name is Jill White-Huffman. I am a caring therapist and owner of two private practices. I earned my Master’s in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy certification from North Carolina A&T State University in 2009.
I also hold a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Bennett College (1985) and a diploma as a Massage & Bodywork Therapist from the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute (1996).
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Life Coach, and Marriage & Family Therapist, I know that complex challenges rarely have quick solutions, but my approach is simple, heartfelt, engaging, and real. I offer both online and in-person counseling.

My approach thoughtfully combines different methods and focuses on collaboration; all centered around you. I genuinely aim to meet you wherever you are—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—offering gentle support and encouraging you to face challenges with empathy and curiosity. I view myself not as an authority but as a reflective mirror and a guide; you have the answers within you, and together, we'll discover them.
From our first session, my goal is to establish a warm, welcoming space where you feel heard and supported as you discuss your past experiences and current struggles. I'll also be here to support you as we work together to develop practical coping skills to soothe your nervous system. We'll identify distressing thoughts, critical or fearful feelings, behavioral patterns, and even explore parts of yourself you may have disowned. Together, we'll make this journey feel supportive and empowering.
Through activities like role-play or guided imagery, I’ll help foster mindful awareness and support you as you move through these challenges and blossom into the best version of yourself. Other tools I use come from therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), Mindfulness, and Mindful Movement.
